It's Only a Play

It's like having coffee every morning.  Every year, everyone who loves Broadway would go to this one show. Where it'd star one of the best Actor in the business, Nathan Lane. It's a Habit.

So this year, it's a Play called "It's Only a Play"

I can't really tell you what the show is all about but that it is exactly what the title have suggested and you'll get the usually and always loving-it Nathan Lane + Matthew Broderick humor.
the set is in the apartment of a producer, the after party for a play's premiere. Trust me, it's funnier that The Producers and they dun even sing and dance.

It is not a new play, as it has been done several times before, just that this time the Broadway Revival have given it a try with some of the biggest name.

Besides them, this will be Rupert Grint (from Harry Potter) Broadway Debut, along side the ever so funny Megan Mullally, the Brilliant Mess of Stockard Channing and F. Murray Abraham. (I always find myself trying to say "Sir F. Murray Abraham" every time I write his name. He just got that Shakespearean Vibe. Probably from all the Shakespeare he's done.)

Need me say more? this's bout as many awards winning actors/actresses you can cramp in one room.

and the show is introducing one of the brightest Newcomer Micah Stock. Micah is virtually unknown but he held his own in the Play and did fantasticly  (nope this is not a typo, I'm just creating words cos "fantastically" just doesn't make sense to me. yeah, I'm one of those people. Hey it's bout Broadway, I can create what I want. Ever heard Abso-Blomming-lutely in Spring?). Anyway, returning to Micah, you'll find him, both humorous in his comedic timing as well as startle-ly method.

Anyhow, it is Only a Play after all.

Farrah Fawcett, our 'Angel' have died at 62

To have 2 of the brightest and most generous person to pass away on the same day would be a loss for us all.

Farrah Fawceett, the original Charlie's Angels, the talented and Kind Farrah Fawcett have passed away on Thursday morning at St. John's Health Center at Santa Monica.

US Usher VS Korean Rain

In US, I've been a fan for Usher for a long time. IF there's no Usher, there's probably wouldn't be any comaprison of young star like Chris Brown. He is the ultimate entertainer in Dance pop music. the young singer who can dance with a great voice. of course we are not forgetting the King Of Pop, MJ. Well, everyone in the business says, no one stay the same and stay on top always. probably there will be another new generation that replace even Chris Brown. but to me Usher is still one amazing singer that host the most amazing if not the sexiest concert.

Well, in US there's Usher, the Asian will never be far behind. Korean running as one of the hip hop dances capital of the world today. Besides producing some of the most remarkable Boys band around, they have there own sexy icon. Rain, who have appeared in Speed Racer and will be the lead in another movie coming summer Ninja, is the sexy God in the music business of Asean. His concert is not hotter than Usher's there's no different. same style, same sound and if you ask me. I think that Rain have an even unique voice for the dances he choreograph himself.

Jonas Brothers Surprise Concert at House of Blues, Sunset Strip right after AMA

What happen when the Jonas Brothers pill out a free secret concert ?(not exactly a secret really when everyone on the net knows.)
The show on House of Blues on the Sunset Strips right after winning the Breakthrough Artist of the year at the AMA.
While everyone is glue to the TV for the award show of the year. Jonas’ show actually trump the show by half of it’s fans, over a thousand fans already skip the show and line up out the venue when the Jonas is performing “Tonight” on AMA stage.
The FREE 3 hours – 24 songs concert is not just spectacular, besides their own songs, Jo Bro covers such legend from Bob Marley’s “Waiting in Vain” to Tom Petty’s “Freefallin” and John Mayer’s “Gravity”.
They even did a Kanye “Heartless”.
Surprise, surprise, Camp Rock partner in crime, Demi Lovato is on stage with the Bros singing her singles and John Mayer’s “Daughter”, Jordan Sparks jam it on with the brothers on Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, and Jesse McCartney perform his hit “Leavin”.
Blues Brothers’ star Dan Aykroyd did the Bo Diddley’s “Who Do You Love?” with the bros too.
It seems that everyone from the AMA come to the concert. HAHA!
Everyone is standing and clapping away and jumping away… oh! Teen angst HAHA!
The marvelous show ended with the harmonious sound of all the guess and the brothers singing to The Beatles “Hey Jude” to a close.
If you ask me, this is the best show since Hanson, Underneath tour.

It seems that news are rolling in big time this week.
Our thoughts are with those with home on the Montecito area, may you wage through the blaze unscathed.
We wouldn’t want to promote on the situation certain Jonas Brother have with Swift. I always think that anything personal should stay personal. To bare teeth in public is just plain ugly. No one would get anything out of it but prolonged grief and bitterness. I hope both party will calm down soon and realize that it’s just life. Deal with it and move on.
And the Greek finally got their kids….. HAHA! My Big Fat Greek Wedding star and writer Nia Vardalos and hubby Ian Gomez is the Happy Parent of their daughter today, they have secretly putting on effort to adopt their daughter. Our million Congratulations to the blessed couple!!!!!
And we might just see Hilary Duff back on TV as a fixture to NBC Schedule. Finger cross.

One Week Before the release of Twilight, The producer has acquired the right to the next 3 sequels and writing will start right away. And unlikely to miss the mark that Twilight will have sequel coming pretty soon. Thanks to the record breaking preshow ticket sales. And to continue breaking the records, Twilight OST actually break the sales in Album and hit #1 on its debut.
And Sister Act is getting the British Royal Treatment next June. The 1992 nun hit comedy is going on West End as a Musical version, produced by Whoopi Goldberg. Break a Leg girl……

What!? It's Hot.... It's summer

It’s official. The gold standard of all music entertainment magazine has declare the new boys band of the century. The New Hanson and maybe the new Bee Gee. Is......(drum roll please)....... The Jonas Brothers.
There’s no doubt now that the Jonas Brothers will be as big as any Boys Band gonna be and beyond.
This month issue of Rolling Stone have featured The Dynamic trio on the front page of the magazine and a full length features inside. Including some inkling of who is the ex and maybe the now new GF of Joe and Nick. ??! How come it’s always about the Eldest and the youngest? HAHA! Nope look closely. Joe is now all grown up and totally attractive. Yup, they are and they have out grown the teens period and now marching on into the tweens phase.
I’m sure that there will be more and more girls swarming into the concert hall and any cinema for the movie of these three heartthrobs and soon they will totally out sale Miley Cyrus..... Or will they? Anyway they are the highest selling boys band today no doubt. And they are sure to stay for a little while longer. And the music industry are keeping their finger cross on the next album. One advice for the bosses of the company is that it’s time to take it up a notch when you got into rolling stone and that cover shot is totally hot..... While we are riding on the young angst of the teens. Even months before we are going into the summer. The hottest show this summer will definitely be Gossip Girl. For the show’s promo ride have already started and these days it seems the youngster are totally taking the lead in movie’s and tv’s box office. Well, the Gossip Girl by this time next year. I proclaim will be the most watched show. And 90210 though making a comeback, it’ll at most get only the head that gossip girl has this year. There’s no chance it’s gonna walk over this hot show. (that of course as always is yet to decide before the first punch is thrown.) Yet the first preview of Gossip Girl has already start cruising the circulation on both TV and internet and it’s Hotter than ever. One advice to the parents though, parent’s guidance is adviced........(Tacky! Tacky moves guys.) Enjoy this season’s teaser poster.

Well, What else is hot. According to this week's comic con. Wolverine and Twilight. You wonder what the buzz is about. One is the total Spin of of X-Men snd naturally it's appropriate to be in the Comic con Buzz center. and everyone is hype to know and see who's coming on board. which mutant is coming out this year and which is taken but how many great looking dude and gals. As far as we know. Gambit will finally be on the list, so do Sabertooth, there's Deadpool, Beak, Silver Fox and Lumberjack. wow it's a gathering really.

What about Twilight? OH! haven't you heard? the new Harry Potter? the new books that's taking over the abandoned fans of the magical world? They Witch and warlord clinging clan now have plunges straight on into the world of Vampire and a not so really normal human girl. Of course a beautiful and handsome cast won't hurt. Starring the once Harry Potter Star, Robert Pattinson. (here comes another heartthrob in the making.) and this one is totally a love story guys. it might get a bit chicky.

of course not to forget will be the G.I. Joe. and a not so hotly promoted Dark movie called The Day The Earth Stood Still. Keanu does what he does best. act in a action fantasy. this time another calls for the world to end in the hand of a alien invasion..... or something like it. Oh the robot alien are not quite like the old movie. silver with hands and legs and on beam of lazer eyes. this one is Keanu handsome face and still all human get crush by him/it.

surel action figure enthusias is already riding the G.I. Joe ride now. with the poster of all of the character out. Channing Tatum leading the good guys. and of course the ninjas and the cobra and the snakes will all be there. so join in the fun of it.

** oh FYI, comic con is a million dollar business if not billion now a days and most of the top 10 highest paid movies are from this formerly Geek central. So don't judge.

All actors are great, just the greatest need to be discover at times. you just have to have faith

There’s a lot of celebrity and famous people in the world. I’ve never really been fond of gossip or judging people.

So I’d just say some of the great that I truly admire. There’s no doubt about it that Marlon Brando, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Anthony Hopkins to name a few.
The next generation to me is Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise (just admit it, though he may not have an OSCAR before but he is the most influencial actor for 10 years. ), Going to George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Johnny Depp.






So to keep in the pace of things. I think we should move to the true purpose of this article.
Who would be the next big star? So who will become the next Tom Cruise, Al Pacino or Tom Hanks.


What inspire me to write this is actually Lee Pace, I was watching Pushing Daisies. And Lee Pace really reminded me of something really familiar. His manor is really similar to Dustin Hoffman. And with such Charisma I believe he will go a Long way to become one of the great actor out there.

Jonathan Rhys Myers however is in totally another league on his own. A Lead in both movies and TV shows at a really young age. Though he is demeanour is a bit cold. Not the less his can carry his own stature in any movie.



There’s no need to introduce Ewan McGregor, he is the future Sean Connery, with the same Scotsmen Charm, he is already the brightest star on earth now. However One person that might Take over the position would be Ryan Gosling, who in a lot of ways looks almost the same as Ewan yet with a different kind of Charmed. More American and Cool.


Patrick Dempsey may be coming a bit late now, but he is the ultimate Prince Charming these couple of years. There’s no one romantic movie won’t want to book him now. (just one note. watched Made of Honor the other day and that juggling thing...... you don't learn it over night. Patrick is the national Juggling Champion when he is young.)And the person that might be the younger version of him would be Zac Efron.

Zac Efron there’s no doubt one of the overheated tween idol out there. He probably have more star power than Patrick. Yes, I shouldn’t be discriminating. He is the power tween of the century. Just as Chris Brown is to the Black Community.

On one side the most unique of all of the young star would be Shia Labeouf. He is charming looking, Rugged and yet not too dirty, and with a humorous and comedic acting style. He is sure to be the next Harrison Ford. And He is Handsome.


One more actor that’s totally out of any of the normal mould would be Daniel Radcliffe. There’s no one in the world that’d have the same experience as he has and he is going to go a long way becaue the “British does have the best policy when it comes to training a great artist.




Or course there’s no way that we talk about star power without mentioning some of them that’s probably made it. Such as Orlando Bloom, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Ryan Phillippe, Joaqin Pheonix, Tobey McGuire, Joseph Gordon Lovett, and Jake Gyllenhaal . They are the already new power house. Of course asany industry, the old would fade and the new would appear.




These days it seems that the audience are more and more acceptable to actor that started from television. Zac did it, So do Patrick Dempsey. Now I think the new generation would be of course the cast of the gossip girl, Chace, Penn, Ed. A few more that i think have did a good job is Chris Lowell. Chad Micheal Murray already is a sensation.


Some of the guys that I think is wonderful that’s here and there and somehow still haven’t grab a star or supernova are Kip Pardue, Steven Strait, James Franco, Elijah Wood, Chris O’Donald
There are of course a few that have already been on awards and were given the honour of nominee and have been quiet for quite a while like Joaqin Pheonix.




James McAvoy has been having a great run this year, so do Emile Hirsch and Michael Angarano is too a great success this year
All and all there are a lot of great actor out there. Some have chosen the star path, some the idol, some the weird choice and some simply have great offer in great movies and ride of awards wagon all the time. Well, I just hope that they really have the best time and giving us more and more great movies in the future.
