you may have a section in your house farm using worm to decompose left over into fertilizer instead of dropping them to the trucks.

Change all light bolts into energy saving kind. And connect all plug system into central timing circuit breaker.

Fruit spray makes easy, water, vinegar, baking powder and a couple drops of fruit extract oil, 5 minutes is all you need to clean of all insecticide and pesticide.

What’s funny is that I haven’t had a clear realization that this week is earth week until yesterday. And weeks before that I’ve been to the DVD store to see what I can get and there’s this documentary on discount. Without thinking much I bought it home. Planet Earth by BBC and Discovery channel. It is one of the most amazing documentary series I’ve ever seen. The high definition is clear and perfectly dynamics from the aerial shots to the animal’s close up.
And I’m watching the best documentary in Earth week and only the other day did I notice it is the documentary that Oprah have been promoting last year.

Green and reusable. Yeast, clean, easy and safe

Here’s something for the health and green conscious people.
How you can reuse and reproduce yeast for baking and other usage such and cleaning and all.
Here’s the tips to reproduce yeast and use them again and again.
3 ways that you can save your money on buying yeast forever.
We’ll also show you ways to use yeast more than just baking.
Method 1
1. Buy a small packet of dry yeast.
2. Put the yeast in water of about 30 degrees celcius.
3. Add sugar to the yeast and water and keep the mix at between 30-38 degrees celcius.
4. Keep feeding the yeast sugar and it will continue to grow. Use when you need and then leave some and feed yeast again it’ll continue to replenish itself.
Method 2
1. Make bread using store bought yeast.
2. Keep a dollop of dough (approximately one cup).
3. Flatten the dollop of dough and place it in your flour bin.
4. A day before baking the next time, take the (now dried and hardened) piece of dough out of the bin.
5. Place the dry, hard dough into a bowl of warm potato and sugar water to soak.
6. Use the frothy water the next day as yeast and repeat the process for your next baking day.
Method 3
1. Make yeast "cakes" with this method.
2. Bring one pint of buttermilk to a boil then remove it from the stove.
3. Stir and add corn meal until quite thick then cool.
4. Soak yeast packet in warm water.
5. Stir the yeast into the cornmeal/buttermilk mixture and allow it to rise overnight.
6. Stir in half a cup or so of white flour and extra corn meal to make the dough very stiff.
7. Roll out to thickness of store-bought cakes, cut into squares and let dry.
8. Use like store bought yeast cakes.
Get vinegar, Lemon and then yeast you get plenty of cleaning action done naturally with just 3 simple things.
Use yeast to clean and wash your fruits and vegetable. You’ll wash off most pesticide residue with it.
Add vinegar and lemon and you get a fragrant cleaner for most stain.
If you are planting any plant. You can use yeast as insecticide or repellent too. just spray it on the plant in your house, you’ll not get any mosquito bite anytime soon and if it’s on your farm you can just clean it easily with water and eat right away.
Oh! Girls don’t be confused about yeast infection with this process. You won’t get yeast infection just because you are growing your own yeast for baking or cleaning purposes. I know that you worry cos when you type yeast. You either get wine making or yeast infection online. Yeast infection is cos by present of bacteria in your V area, or injury during S.E.X. so it’s a cleanliness matter. Not related at all with yeast cleaning power and natural usage of yeast. And for your information, yeast exist everywhere and is air borne most of the time. So there’s no need to hide under some rubber bubble after you clean with yeast or growing yeast.

Green is the New Sexy

Well I think it’s time to renew one of my vows to be green.
Well you guys have heard about it all. I just realise there’s only a few ingredients we need for all domestic cleaning purposes. What you need is vinegar, baking powder, lemon(for both cleaning effects and the good smell), and soap (organic preferably and less usage as possible). You can clean anything with vinegar and baking powder and water mixture really, even the insecticide on vege and fruits. And if you prefer to get rid of the smell of vinegar, then let in a few drops of lemon. There you have something that’s ever so friendly to the earth and effective too and most probably much cheaper than most of the over the counter cleaning solution really. Try it out. I did. Just remember not to use soap on anything that’s you are going to eat.
Besides that something else you can just do is that buy a water bottle and not mineral water. One you are creating plastic waste, even if it is one bottle a day, that’s still one bottle. And there’s the hygiene and plastic tocsin release from refilled plastic bottle. So it’s easier to just get rid of it one and for all and just use a better bottle. As for plastic bag, if you must ask for paper or bring your own none plastic bags for shopping. Just put it into your handbag.
Then one more things that‘s beneficial both financially and eco-friendly is changing one light bulb at a time. change to energy saving light bulb, because one light bulb may cost 5 dollars more but in one month you’ll get it back from the electric bills and it last at least twice as long as the usual one. Of course on the energy saving side, it’s always a good trick to adjust 2 degree higher on your air-con.
And for health reason, and a little bit of eco-friendliness, look for organic food. You’d get less harmful chemical in those products, I mean in all eatable product try to look for that and the less we demand it the less people are going to use it. it’s a bit more expensive, but my thought is it’d do good on my health bill if I don’t get my body sick more, and I sure don’t mind a better and longer life.
