Hey there! Everyone I'm Back!

Been taking some break from the whole working scene for a week while all the chinese around the world celebrate the Lunar New Year, and American either voting or trying to escape the ice storm or tornado. Oh and the Hong Kong Star Rushes away from the whole Nude-sex-act photo scandal. Me been chilling in the tropical paradise of the south east asia with a bunch of below 5 kids damn there goes my holiday haha. taking care of all the children haha.

Guys and Girls what were you thinking? Taking Pic of Sex act and send the PC for repair?have some senses and delete all inappropriate photo in your or anyone pc now and lost if forever. with the network growing so fast once it's out there I'm sorry to say there's no way back man. And if you wish to be like Paris Hilton and not become a porn star in the end make sure you have enough money for the rest of your life or an ambition to go bad if not you are bound to be even worse than the Material Girl would have in the 80's cos then we dun have internet Babe.

Anyway what's up this week. the Grammy is over and Amy Winehouse regardless of her mishab, "rehab" is a biggie. then the BAFTA honour the movies like the rest of the world did, Atonement got the best movie and that's all. wonder though how a movie become great without a great cast or writing or even editing? strange how some awards does sometimes.

besides that the next global attraction of the year in Cinema Park is "Jumper" starring the ever so handsome Hayden Christenson of "Star Wars 2,3" fame and Rachel Bilson of "The O.C.". sorry guys no more geeky fantasy for you, she fell in love with the tall, handsome and Gymnastic-perfect Hayden right then and there. the movie about a generation of teleportable Jumper battling out another bunch of "normal if not psycho" guys pledge to kill them all with the ability.

Of cors there's more to go this week marks the 25 years of "thriller". the Micheal Jackson's 25 yo hit get a remake. for those of you born in the past 10 years, you'll be more appreciative of the collaboration of the CD with Ne-Yo, Fergie and Snoop Dog.

continue of the movie trail, I open my movie chest and found another great missing classics that's not of any Awards trail but a great cast have assemble, with Cher heading the show, All the old and beautiful and not to miss Talented are there, Dame Judy Dench, Maggie Smith,Joan Plowright and Lily Tomlin and not to mention the only Male lead, Baird Wallace in the movie that could steal the whole movie from all the great ladies. another movies that represent what movie's drama is all about. A setting in the Mussolini times of Italy and bunch of retired single women migrants in Italy send to concertrated camp yet with some miracle still fine humor and life in the great wall of the not so tightly guarded fence of Florence. And the kid that have been apart of the old socialite ladies life 10 year ago comes to the rescue of the ladies and offers a great comfort to the ladies of news of the outside world. i find that human a great being and capable to create better life for normal ppl with just small deed and a big hearts. and the relationship of the child-teenager Lucas with the ladies is simply captivating. for all of you who is looking for a good movie with little war and great relationship this is the one to watch for. and funny enough I accidentally discover this one when I bought the ticket to this movie wrongly in a cineplex like 5 years ago when there's a European movie fest going on and I waas trying to get tickets for a summer blockbuster haha. though not what i expected to watch but it still offers great entertainment and I was thinking I'm gonna watch Independance day haha. so you can imagine the surprise i have haha.

On the music side, the American this year besides voting for a New President, this month on you are given another chance to vote for the new American Idol. Yup the Hot and Spicy New 24 have been chosen this evening. and My bet is on David Archuleta. this kid just simply spell-binding. wait til you hear his singing voice after you heard him speak. you'd never guess the sound coming out of that "paralyzed" vocal cord. you'd be paralyzed by it. David I'm betting on a one mill bet off here don't fail me. Or I'll come for you...... haha just kidding. if only i have one mill haha. anyway good luck to all the contestant and for the Anti-------- being out there. no more Sanjaya, it is funny for a few weeks but after that there's nothing fun in screwing others better chances to shine. I dun like some of the Idol element as well but there's no good out fo crushing some deserving ppl's dreams. what fun is there? oh I'm not saying he's handsome, I'm saying he's a great singer. no harm being cute. Look at Nick Jonas of the Jonas Bothers.

New Weekend and a happy Lunar New Year to All Chinese Around the World

The other day I just have a look at the new Elizabeth Installation "The Golden Age" and it's a fine great deal. though less struggle than the first installment (which makes Cate Blanchett my muse, the British always have an itch on great indie movie).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Spoiler Ahead~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this time there's the spanish war wich the virgin Queen didn't even have to fight to win. of course there is the pirate's duke and her hand maiden. so all and all, it's an epic. and Cate is a gem to look at again....... the acting is simply captivating.
For those movie buff looking for action this is not the drama for you. it is more shaspearean stage show than the one and only Romeo and Juliet actian drama kind. but these kind of movie simply demonstrate dramatic movie influences perfectly tru and tru.
of course if you have watched the TV version of Elizabeth you'll have a bold time with this one. they are both of the same period just different interpretation. It is just as intelligence and well presented as "The Queen" 2 years before.
And now here comes the music review of the week. I've just got tru Blake Lewis of the American Idol Fame last year. the Album is called "Audio Day Dream". just as the Title suggested, you'll take the best trip of your life.
for all Jamiroquai Lover out there that's looking for a younger alternative with an incling of American touch on the mix. he is the guy and this is the album to get to. the Mix and style is a great deal fresher than the J man. minus the 8th track ballad. most of the songs are great discoteque and you can shake you botty off with the first single out Break Anotha. He is fresh, sweet, the sound is smoother and sometimes splash a bit of 54 studio-ish touches. a bit of house and grind-house beatboxing. it is the next new sound with a bit of old style. so enjoy you teens this is your ticket to the disco before the legal age. oh just one comment, the Ballad is a great touch as well. nothing's wrong with it. the Funk is working the Smooth Man
As for those that's looking for a more Corine Bailey Ray Style singer with a male voice.
you can take a look at this guy. Jamie Scott and The Town. He have the same voice as Blake Lewis yet their style is totally on another Hemisphere. Jamie's style are more British-Scottish country style than anything Discoteque. the most disco style he's done you'll have seen or heard that sound on "Step Up" the hit Dance movie of 2006.
both front man likes their Falseto so much they are more seamlessly incorporated into each sound. Jamie took the James Blunt Style and more British-like than american. so it's kinda hard to predict the possibility of him capturing the heart of the American here. but I'm sure with the success of the other Artist he's got a great chance with the world population, with just enough promotion. (when you look at it. what the US of A called unique is kinda Alienating themselves from the rest of the world sometimes.)
If I can have one Island for myself
in less than 100k CAD I can own one acre of land that's a really good price for me.
Most of them are wet land in Canada. If you are interested in Panama then they have much better offer with the same value in USD even.
6.5 acres for 34k Panama
I'll take that one. or if you are interested in Belize there's some good one too.
I dun find it hard to believe if I am going to buy a 300k-400k home. why not a 100k for the island and 200k for building the house and 100k for the transport I find it's a really probable solution.
besides if i can build a cozy house i can simply rent it out.
i just kept thinking about it. most private island for rent can rent from 300- 3k per month or week or the luxurious 3000 per night. so why not if it's really probable and easier option that you need what? 100 years to actually generate that kinda sales in some small product. you can actually do this as a side income job. and you own it too.
plenty of people in USA have own town house or country hides cabin for rent up to 6k per night. it's a probable option for any small modal invester who wish to take a look on the real estate field.
I'll ask my friend in CANADA to take a look at this one
Region Nova Scotia, Canada
Price CAD $29,900
Status for sale
Size 1.2 acres
Location Louisdale, Nova Scotia
not a bad buy really if the land is bare or hard and the water is clean.
but just look out for any law loop. mayb there's more taxes or something that's required.
Bipolar Disorder
I once consider the posibility of Bipolar disorder happening to me. so I did some research.
bipolar disorder is a combination of mood disorders defined by the presence of one or more episodes of abnormally elevated mood, some called it mania. So It's like a mood swing from Anger to normal to depression and normal and then gone to suicidal and so on.
it's very hard to identify whether you are bipolar or just a normal person. because a normal person would go through the same stage from time to time as well. some could be just the fact that you are poor from controlling your own emotion or you lack of interest in controlling them. of course because of the fact that the condition of a bipolar disorder is so hard to be recognize some people do misuse the term by calling themselves bipolar when they have a mood swing or lazy. but bipolar disorder person they are not in control of the mood swing at all.
and most sever cases would go into manic shock or suicidal attemp on their own life.
so for those diagnos with the disorder can take medicine to control the depression or anger. yet everyone have a totally unique system of body on their own. so if you are taking those drugs, it takes some adjustment of the dosage and tries on different type of medication to really hold a control on the condition. but the fact is you can live a very normal life with the right medication and normal living. some do able to control the condition without taking any medication. but my advice is take them as a starting point when you are diagnos with the condition to get ahead of the mood swing and get yourself organize. just like treating any depression. but work with your psychiatrist to get the type of medicine and dosage right and you can lead a great life.
there is hope, everywhere and everytime. there is. do not resolve to any simple conclusion or just leave it. it is your life, take an active role and carpe diem. it is yours and yours only to live it. you can decide hold you want to lead it.
If you wish to learn more about the disorder you may get the book by Dr. Kay Jamison a foremost experts of bipolar disorder and a patient herself, "An Unquiet Mind" her autobiography or "Manic-Depressive Illness " this more factual book on the disorder.
This Week Shutter Bug Feature - Cole Rice
Cole Rice, from all the photography blog and community I've gone to this week, this is one of the most inspirational, If not Australian he's totally American. the feature of his Photography simply - literally simple and beautifully - display the natural beauty of the American nature and nothing in it looks man made or man-handled at all. even the farm house blend into the backdrop as one perfect picture. the color ranging from bright golden dusk to black white and gray simply brought out the life of the story in the photo just like the one picture featured in this post. for any further discovery of this great artist simply go to -> Cole Rise Official Web site. Every Photo in the site could be one protrait in one of my room in my house.
Yesterday SAG Award
SAG Award. finally got on the way yesterday. it's the first populated American Award showthat actually got launch this year. Skipping Golden Globe last week.
No surprise here that the SAG and WG always have a uncommon relationship.
Anyway. as everyone expected there's no black horse in the race this year. everyone who was suppose to get an award was given one. except I'd love the TV series would give award to more wide spead series. it seems that it's all "The Office", "Sapranos", and "30 Rock" fans in SAG. the actor knows it well when it comes to chances in life and the are of acting. but I do think "Closer" star or "Damages" Glenn Close should deserve some applaud there, their performance are captivating if not audience magnetic.
Daniel Day Lewis as always got the ultimate nod for every award he got nominated.
and I do hope that Cate Blanchett could get one this year.
Anyway. it's a good thing. as always the SAG is filled with humor from some of the most charismatic actor and actresses as well as some shocked numb one. To the teens of course it's gonna be seeing Zac Efron up and running well for the first time after his surgery. nice move to support your own union Zac.
so everyone is looking forward for the Grammy and OSCAR now.
Treasure Chest
I was Flipping through my DVD Chest after a boring day at work yesterdat and I found this DVD that have been lying in there for the past 2 years.
If anybody at the age of my brother or mother would remember this one. "Dirty Dancing", It's an old movie about a guy falling in love with a girl and they dances. The original was really cheessy just like the name of the actor suggested. Patrick Swayze. who really could sway like you don't know an actor could.
But today I'm not talking about the original. After watching the much hyped foreign movie Oscar nominee "Y Tu Mama Si Tambien", everyone who watch the show or gone for the movie or wearing a Zegna will notice Diego Luna and Gael GarcĂa Bernal.
So after the show Diego Luna have transfer into USA and take on the lead role of the "Dirty Dancing" long awaited sequal, which Swayze also have a little supporting role in. the sequal was named "Dirty Dancing: Havana Night" which relive the same theme as it's predecesssor.
The rich girl intrigue by the saucy latin dances. this time the setting in no more the lake of Savannah, but the much heated Cuba right before the Revolution begins.
The girl follow her father who was assigned to Havana, leaving behind everything, she finds nothing comfort about the new environment except by chance discover the unique dance move of the local and one local waiter in the hotel that throughout the whole story takes the Girl into this beautiful, hot and freeing culture of latin dancing amid the whole underlying atmosphere of the begins of the revolution. Diego simply charmed everyone with his smooth latin acsence and all the dance move simply makes you want to dance along to the romantic yet sexy music.
For people who need a good night to feel good about themselves Guy or girl, watch the film and you won't be dissapointed.
Another Star have Been Deemed!
for all of us that started this habit of watching movie at my teens will know him started almost as the same age we graduate from high school in "10 Things I Hate About You" with such promising stars like Julia Stiles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
He has portray as the son of Mel Gibson in The Patriot of the American Civil War Drama.
And then he become the Knight in the Dark Age, in "A Knight's Tale".
After Building a profile, with these movies he join the cast of Monster Ball where Helle Berry got the first Black Women Oscar, and as Ned Kelley in the biographical story of Ned Kelley.
When partnering with such stars seems to be not enough he join Matt Damon as the older Grimm Brother in "The Brothers Grimm".
As the Venice Great Lover Casanova he then capture many of the women's heart after Marrying his co-star in Brokeback Mountain, Michelle Williams and they have a 2 years old daughter before they have their divorce finalize last year.
His latest performance including the Many Many portrayed Bob Dylan Movie "I'm No There" as one of the many charactor of Bob Dylan.
and He is filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when he is found lifeless in his hotel room. He was bound to promote the 2nd prequel for the Batman movie "The Dark Knight" this summer.
Mac New Genius Invention
The Thinnest Lap Top. Mac Air Everyone. you can actually fit it inside an envelope.
It is exciting to look at it. but not as exciting as IPhone. Yet with all the buzz. it's not hard to see why.
But I believe that Sony have come out with a similar idea a very long time ago. though then USB isn't really that much of an option and the connectivity technology wasn't as advance. and the disadvantage of it is the deck that comes with it simply spell trouble.
So this time Mac coming out with Air isn't a bad idea. but it's a question of whether iot's really time more seamingly wireless peripheral operating environment now. there's no drive reader on the Air. you have to either use a PC's Disc Drive or the only USB port on this Mac.
but if you are going out i suppose you can eliminate the trouble of bringing a drive for coffee outlet usage. yet still measuring less than half a cm on the thinnest part and less than 2cm on the thickest side (that's a little bit more than half an inch on all sides) is impressive. it's not a book for the old fashion operator that 's for sure. too few jacks to use haha.
the screen is nice so do the keybord. I was hoping the DVD drive could actually be like the iMac on the side of the screen instead of needing to use a external one. Anyway anyone with the spare money could have a look. the hardware spec is as good as any high perfomance laptop. so if you don't really need the drive then i guess this is the one for you.
Of course as we all Pod and Mac user's now. taking the Apple is a culture. when you touch one you don't want any other. and as they say "It got Style" Spell all over it. but I do admit it is a expensive habit when you have too little. so you decide yourself. but every Apple "eater" will tell you that it's all worth it. and totally stress free. Imagine slipping them in you filing case when you go to school with it.
The Ancient World.
This week I'd like to do something about the antient artifacts that is lying around the world in great museum yet to be discovered. by many.
Y you want to go to Berlin you say:- The Ishtar Gate is why. for almost 2 century that I wonder whether the Ancient Babylon and the Hanging Garden do exist and right in my face it's telling us that it does exist. Because the very gate is in the Berlin Museum all this while, the great ruby Blues and the Lions Statue they are magnificient.
Of course everyone knows the parthenon of the Greeks. it's as big as a 5 stories building and the column is just great to look at. Yet most of the artifacts are kept in the Great Britain Museum. not in Greeks. But sadly to say the great Statue of Athena is not inside.
Some of the greatest Ancient Artifacts are in Egypt, the great Valley of the kings and the Giza Pyramid. If you really have a chance to travel then Egyupt would be a great place to go to. but still there are still a artifacts that is scattered around the world's musuem from the old days loothing and old Archeologist grabbing whatever they excavated that time.
Movie Of the Week
Cloverfield Aside. I also went and watch 2 more movies during the weekend First off is “Mad money”. A story about 3 woman becoming thieves in the federal bank. IT’s a funny comedy just like the likes of “9 to 5” or “the 1st Wives club” it’s witty, funny and a lot of humor. But it’s lack of a plausible plot. That’s the only flaws, the whole story flow so smooth you can simply smooth off in that 1 and a ½ hr. so if you are looking for a light hearted funny movie that’s for you. I know it cheers me up.
So after the movie I went for a walk around town until my second movie of the day. “Rendition” as anyone know it’s a politics movie. No! I dun want to talk about Reese Whiterspoon meeting Jake on the movie cos they don’t meet there .if you notice, Reese only have scene with Jakes Brother In Law which could probably formally introduce the 2 at some event or at the premiere. O.K. that doesn’t matter much, Let’s get back to the movie. It’s a great movie. Good portrayal of the whole Middle East situation. Yes that could be a fraction of the torture that gone on after 911. it’s whether you choose to believe it or not. The Arabic Actors and Actresses have done a great job especially the bomber and his girlfriend.
Jake….. doesn’t really have much scene to perform. However the victim have a better chance of winning awards as best supporting actor if he got his face shot more. Haha! Anyway, It’s not as good as “Lions of Lambs” which have a more focus point. But overall it’s not a bad movie. It got the message across. I was actually watching the film in a Muslim country and believe it or not there’s a lot of foreigners in the cinema that day and they the foreigners actually applaud at the end of the movie. That’s says a lot about the false perception that the Americans have on the Muslim and their partner in the war. Not all Muslim’s actually hate American nor do they like the war. And not all European or Australian for that matter are impress with the US move to have war. I guess some part of it in all our heart we are a bit tired of hearing about the wars. And if you didn’t notice this most of the war news now have remain as a monologue below the anchor face on the news nowadays. No one is interested in hearing it unless there’s a solution to resolve it now.
Music Review of the Week
Alright, This week in music, there’s no much new music to talk about really. But there are plenty of concert DVDs to look into as the summer tour is alreadyt finish and all of them are rolling out of the assembly line.
First of of cors is one of the biggest tour besides, Madonna, Spice Girls, and Miley Cyrus is the Sexy Back Justin Timberlake. This time he is using his charm and the classic sexy back instead of the debut, rough, corky style. This time he goes classic. Wearing mostly throughout the show half a tucs or vest with some smooth and stylish dance move. And the setting is great because it is his very first Big Solo tour. Of cors with it runs the special edition CDS for “Sexy Back” with a couple of promotional Music video running on the airwaves all the is while. It’s one heck of the concert to look at.
Now from one Sexy Back to another, Beyonce, second world tour concert DVD is out, great set s and great performance and plenty of flair and booty shaking as always. What more could you say, it’s just top the first tour and a little bit more. Always a Gem to look at Beyonce performing live.
If you are looking for something smooth, sexy yet not so hot. Try the Hit theatre concert of last year from Michael Buble. He is the Smooth crooner of the 21st century. He’s a gentleman, he got style and he move and talks just like the old jazz legend, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett or B. B. King and he sings even as good as them with a twist of the new school. The way he talks, the way he walk exudes elegance and style. He’s a charmer and you’ll like him from the first moment he opens his mouth.
