History have been made: Obama POTUS

Our Congratulation to the first ever African American President Elect for the United States of America.
It was a dream and now ... a reality.
this is not a win for the democrats, this is not a win for the Blacks, this is the win of the American as a nation. One nation one people.
The very last boundaries of racism is broken at this very moment.
It is a great dream, the ultimate American dream.
The collapse of the Berlin Wall, the ending of Arpartied, the defeat of segregation, the equal right to vote, all history in the equality had lead up to this greatest moment of our time.
Clinton from the beginning have ran a great campaign to be the first women president of the America. But that dream is far less significant at that moment for there already are other women president and prime minister at office in other country. It won’t be the first in the world.
McCain also ran a great campaign, a well fought battle til the last minute. Never giving up. A noble man that has loved and fought for the country he love and protected throughout the years. A war veteran with great experience in politics, yet what he promise have not signify any significant different nor promise any alternative to what Bush have done in the past 8 years.
There is no guarantee that the war would end, no guarantee the health care would get better, the economy will rise, nor the education would have a more comprehensive and complete program. But one thing is for sure, Obama is a great intellectual and his office is symbolizes the very essence of American spirit, Democracy, Liberal, Opportunity and Hope.
God Bless America.

Barack Obama will be the first Senator to become a president since J.F.K.(who is the youngest president ever elected to take office)
-The first president from Illinois since Lincoln and Ulysses Grant
-The first president born in Hawaii

As for Joe Biden will be the first vice president from Delaware.
I hope that this will bring about the much change needed for the government to focus on their very own domestic situation, the mortgage crunch and crashes, the poor health care, the crumbling educational system, the huge gap between inner city and outer, being one of the wealthiest nation in the world. These are the most essential problem that can’t be solved but no one but American themselves.

** one interesting thing for the IT geeks and Entertainment geeks out there. CNN this year is trying a live beaming of hologram to the news studio room. Totally cool to see some movie science being realize. It’s history making totally. It’s a must see for all Star Trek fans

**** Some facts this year is the most expensive election campaign ever from both party, over spending the expenses through the billion mark for the first time. Double what’s been spent for the 2004 campaign on both party.

****** As usual the polling station are reporting quite a few problem and trouble on machine and lines and the systems when lawsuit are being file again at the moment.

Early Projection of US Election

As the time creeps by, the east coast state ballot stations are closing one by one. Thank you all and we will keep doing better and better

Here we would like to say thank you for all of you that came in this week. To have over 300 hits and 50 new friends in a week’s time is very humbling for us. We’ll do our very best to bring many more great news and feature to all of you in the future. You may join the many that have come in this month and the past and future at http://www.myspace.com/keitoshichin

Feature Artist: Exile Parade

Exile Parade, the Rock band that can blow you socks off anytime anywhere. Yet, you can’t find a single whiff of heavy metal with them. Like any European born musician you get the Beatles syndrome down to their bones. But you do not see a single bubble gum pop in their music. Let’s just call it, sensual Rock. Or what the Americans like to call it, European Rock. And if you ask me, I’ll have them in my club anything and blow off all the glasses in the pub anytime. Here’s the interview we have with the guitarist Phil.

Hey there. Nice of you to join us today for an interview.
Let’s get down to business, shall we?

Q: So you guys been around for a few years. I’ve even see your sound in some underground music store. So since you guys are bit underground, let’s shade some light on who you guys are?
A: We're Exile Parade from Warrington, in between Manchester and Liverpool so we've got a pretty good music heritage.

Q: How would you describe your music? Rock? Metal? Mental? ha
A: It's not something I ever really think about but it's always something as a band you get asked. All we do is write songs that we want to write because that's the only way you can write great songs. Once you start writing for a specific genre or some sort of f**king target market then you lose the edge that makes you great. But if you want a general description I suppose we would fall under the rock umbrella but I think that's probably quite misleading - just give it a listen.

Q: Who would you say are your main influences in your style?
A: Well like I said growing up in between Manchester and Liverpool you would have to walk around with ear muffs on to not be influenced to some degree by the bands that have come from where we live. So bands like the The Beatles, Oasis and The Smiths are an influence but at the same time I don't think we sound anything like those bands. We've been produced by Owen Morris who also produced Oasis so you can certainly hear that influence in the recordings. We're not musical snobs so we'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it's music made with a bit of bollocks.

Q: So how you guys jam out the music you guys play live? Garage band? Or one of you would write something and the rest just fall into place? Which comes first? Lyrics or music or just a beat?
A: It changes all the time. For a song to be as good as you want it to be every member of the band has got to be on top of their game. We all know what we're good at so it's very much a collective effort. There's no set rules and that's the way it should be.

Q:Just out of curiosity? What you guys thinks about pop bands (usually called boys band) like Take That, Westlife and say…… N’sync?
A: Don't care about them. Really are insignificant. I don't have an opinion on them - they do what they do well and I'm not going to criticize them for it.

Q:I see that you guys have a lot of live shows line up. So what is the most often gig you guys play? Bar and Pub? Or small concert or open air concert?
A: We're in a strange place at the moment. We have a record deal in Europe so when we play there we could be playing a festival in front of 10,000 people or when we play other places where we're less well known it's a lot less. But we like playing live so we'll do a gig anywhere and make sure everyone there is blown away by it.

Q:How could someone get hold of your CD/downloads?
A: Same as everything at these days just get on the internet and it won't take you long to find it.

Q: If some agent would like to book you guys for a show. Who should they contact?
A: Like I say just get on the MySpace, http://www.myspace.com/exileparade or whatever and I'm sure you'll get hold of us somehow.

Q: Any last wishes before with close this off? Anything you guys like to say to your friends, fans and the new ones?
A: I'll be seeing my family and friends later so no need for messages but if you're offering me wishes I'll have a number one album and Man City to win the league.
Oh Not a Man U fan? HAHA! Well, break a leg guys. I’ll hope to see you guys in a show in the future really soon. All the best. And thanks for taking the time again for our interview.

CD Rack: T.I. Britney, Ne-Yo, Pink, Beyonce

What’s on the CD Rack today? We heard that T.I. and Beyonce is leading the chart.
T.I.’s Paper Trail is totally a rappers dream at work. You can say it’s fueled by the gossip and the trial. But regardless, as we all say music have no boundaries. This is a rap that you can’t turn down. Whatever You Like and Live Your Life is on the Top 2 spot of Billboard 100 single that’s an achievement by itself already. T.I. always has that sensual breeze to his casual style. It’s a shame that the jail sentence is on.
Beyonce’s If I Were Boy is exactly what Beyonce can turn up. Right to the standard of a true R&B songstress. Her Album I Am… Sasha Fierce will be out this month and you may start ordering it now. It will totally blow your mind off again.
This week we are seeing a lot of the phoenix rising from ashes, Britney Spears are the ultimate phoenix you’d ever get. Womanizer open with great review. And a fitted Britney is booked for tour coming spring and the album Circus is set for release on December.
It will be a busy month and it’ll eat through all your pockets HAHA!
Another phoenix we see this month is Pink. Her album Funhouse is in store and as any essential rocker chick will be. Pink is definitely the rocker chick you don’t want to mess with. If you can get your divorce husband be in your MTV of the songs about your break up relationship…. That’s something, no one in the world will have a Hell gut to do at all HAHA! Yup she did it again and who couldn’t help to love this woman? The single “So What” is on the 4th spot in Billboard hot 100 single this week.
John Legend, always the gentleman got his album Evolver out this month as well. And true to the title, this is a life changing experience with a great musician. John have always be an innovator in his work, and this time he totally have out done himself. No more of the previous slick pop style and in is the experimental Jazz and Blues. It’s not classic yet it’s not pop either and to tell the truth this one is better than his second Album Once Again. I’m not sure if it will top Get Lifted. But the sales sure say something about that statement. All in all this is a great effort to turn out his own sound.
While we are on the case of new CD review. I’ve got my hand on 2 more of the old… new album this year. Ne-Yo’s Year of the Gentleman, is as good as it gets from a R&B star. The album’s every single are bound to be release as hot picks for single chart and everyone of it can be a top 10 material. This further fortified Ne-Yo’s talent as a great producer of our time. This time it’s more sexy and more matured. And the slicker than grease style that Ne-Yo holds always is kept true and through the whole album.
The last CD I’ll introduce is the one that’s on every teenagers mind if they don’t have it already and in their IPod already if they have bought it. Jonas Brothers. Dropping the “The” from their band’s name. I must say the truth. I’m glad that the brothers have got a more matured sound to their songs and a much more complex mix to their album. From rap, R&B rock to the familiar teen rock style they promote, this is a great leap for the band. It’s amazing what confidence could do to a band’s musically. Burnin’ Up is a perfect first single from the Album titled “A Little Bit Longer”. Though I was baffle by the start songs of the album BB Good. But the follow up to Burnin is the retro style LoveBug which they debut in MTV Award and I find the retro unplug feel that transform into the rocker edge on the last verse of the songs is fantastic in record. This will definitely further the brothers career on and we hear that the youngest of the four will be coming into play next time as the bands Rockin Drummer? If that so this is the complete 4 piece band themselves.

of course this month, besides the show down of the presidential election we will also be anticipating the showdown of the A.I. 2008 finalist, David Cook and David Archuleta. both will be droping their album the same month with David A. on Nov 11 next week and David C. the week after Nov 18. All the best to the both self titled album. I'm sure I'll be getting mine soon.

Again, to remind you guys, do not forget to vote today when you read this. makes every votes count.

Fashion week 2008. Men's wear reveal

Let’s start this week off with something more light –hearted. Since last month’s fashion week we have tons and tons of picture without anyone to review in.
Since most of our closest friends are in the show and male. We will do one chapter of male fashion for this time.
Our taste are much more into wearable fashion that’s stylish yet not too outlandish. We appreciate art and detail. Don’t misunderstood, but not everywhere is Milan or Paris.
First stop we are in the Lacoste, the ever so golf oriented fashion icon of course didn’t let us down and remain part of its golf collection. But the more impressive part is that the casual wear department are totally blossoming this year. With clothes that’s smooth and style to the detail design, this year is a fresh ankle high pants. Comforatble and sensible.
One American cultural brand have gone totally American fitted this year with it’s collection, Gilded Ages. Always classic.
Somehow we always love Marc by Marc Jacobs. It’s always great to have something that seems ordinary yet so filled with detail. My friend always say what can guy wear that’s different. Pants and shirt that’s all. But male design can be changed in a fashionable subtle way. A little pattern on the chest and the waist, you’d look smarter and straighter. Marc always have that edge in every ordinary shirts and pants.
For a complete wardrobe redesign, you do not have to go farter than Michael Bestian. This year, you can get your whole design from Michael, from trench coat to shorts to beach wear to casual to disco friendly to down to earth to guy next door design to tux, every design of clothing for every different occasion is there. Nothing too fancy yet totally fit into the male vibrant lifestyle.
For something with bolder color and cutting you can check out the other Michael. Michael Kors. We are always a fan. The fitted cutting, the bold pattern and color, yet you won’t find something that’s overly design. Like cutting that is too baggy or extra large. Just fit and pattern. It’s a more Miami kinda feel. Invigorating, revitalizing and slick and fit, and total brave test of color combination yet masculine.
From someone that step both world of color and style to something much more suignature, Perry Ellis Signature. It reminded me of one of the ways I like to shop, same design every color you have. I’d be broke with Perry Ellis. This one is all the color that I like, ocean blue, pink, earth, green, the soothing tone of the natural soft color it felt like baby skin that caresses the my body. Love the soft tone and the variety of choice in color. I can have a whole wardrobe of this and changes one tone to the other half of the day. It is the ultimate California life design. Fitted to healthy and strong male body.
If you are looking for something that’s more rock and leather and black and white. Here’s the totally perfect design cut out for that dude. Rock and Republic gone totalle Black and White collection is to stylish and smooth this year. I think they are giving the real rocker a bad name. It’s like too smooth to be true. I myself love the fit and groom design. Slicker than your average rocker is an understatement. The Rocker with style have finally arrive. Bye Bye to the scruffy rocker dude next door.

Last but not least. My most priced brand, fitted for all body type. You can be stylish in every design from this brand with the right combination of vest and pants and the right design. Spurr have them all. Trust me go with Spurr you won’t be disappointed. You just have to get you that good eye promoter and the right combination. Anyone can wear a pants and everyone can look great in one with Spurr.

DVD that matters: Sicko and Recount

Since It's the Election Week we go for something that matter to the event.

This week on DVD I’m going for something older. Sicko. Not really the oldest out there. But I do think that every American should check it out.
Reason is simple, do not hide your head when you are looking at your very own health issue and the policy that really have collapse.
Everyone in America knows that their health care sucks. But how bad is it?
You just have to go over their border to know.
Politics aside we are in the end talking about how other country is about?
German and France have free health care and education. France offer pregnant woman half year maternity leave and government child care and home help for new mother. You don’t have to pay a dime. Even if you are foreigner in the country, you are consider a guest, there’s no payment required when you go to the hospital.
Ok fine that maybe these maybe the only exceptional case there is out there. Have you check Canada and Mexico? The same medicine you can at 10% of the price you pay in Mexico and Canadian have free medicare and prescription, totally….
Still not convince? No matter how bad we all think the Cuban are, their medical is free, and if the same medicine sold for more than 100 bucks in US cost only 5 cents that’d be ridiculous and it does. And it’s not about American hero being treated badly, the veteran or the volunteer from 9/11. But to treat all people the same, if that’s the case and the people in the movie actually got the same treatment as everyone got in Cuba. A medical personnel’s dream to not tell any people to go away because of race, nationality or anything else, and just treat them as normal human being.
Even Britain did better on that part, you don’t have to pay for anything to go to hospital, emergency room or not, then there’s the doctor coming to your house, for free. Yes, free. and the prescription? It’s 6.65 pound per prescription, that is the same price for any amount, you can ask for a year’s amount it’s the same price.
I, myself have the same experience when I’m in Greece. I was bitten by a dog and the emergency visit is free and the pharmacy is around 10 Euro.
And as I know experience it myself, that the civil war torn Sri Lanka, have free medical and education as well. I mean totally free until you graduate from College. Even though their salary in professional area is little compare to anyone in the world, but they are totally set for life in healthcare and complete education. There’s no worry, there’ no other action to be taken to prevent or get something out of what ever it is.
So I ask is socialized medical care or government controlled health care really that bad?
I’m in South East Asia still the government hospital is free. yes they may be packed, but they are free. And the clinic is always open. Emergency room, definitely no charges.
Right the under lying question, the tax raise. Yes the tax will be raise. There’s no doubt about it. Probably higher to 50%. But if you pay 50% now but totally no worry after that til you die. Why not? It means you can afford health care even if you are broke. Why not? Better than any insurance premium that doesn’t pay for anything or scare that it won’t pay for anything.
One more reminder, go to the voting station right now and vote. Remember to vote, must vote. Regardless what you choose, makes every vote count. Go to vote now. Don’t wait til the last day. Vote.

Another movie that got my attention this week is Kevin Spacey's "Recount", which is a movie about the recounting of vote of the 2000 presidential election that got everyone going on and on about because of the whole Florida hiastus and the recount and recounts. and in the end no one really know what's the real vote are. it's about the struggle and the fighting story behind.

both movies are the best to sum up what's happen in the past 8 years and what really matter and at stake in this year's election. so i hope all of you enjoy the DVDs and remember to vote.
