the Epic Movie Week, Avatar's Alien, Vs the most important world History, The Bodyguards and the Assassins and on little Treasure Hunter

Avatar, The movie that is supposed to be the epic CGI movie of the year, turn to be one of the biggest movie of the year going into getting the award for the best movie? Could it be too good to be true? Sound familiar? Titanic anyone?

Well, that’s James Cameron. You can never say no to one of the most innovative, diverse and ahead of time director.

Let’s have a look, the movie is real, the character though CGI, the expression seems real enough to get people feel the emotion. It is close enough. The story? You got the epic love, the tough love ,the friendship, the comrade, the sacrifice, the epic battle scene, you got the action, there’s the move, there’s the exotic creature, there’s the good and the bad, the family, the fights to get recognize and to ward off enemy.

All the element of a great epic story is there, now the technology. The graphic is definitely ahead of our time and the illustration and animation is better than a lot of movie of the past. The editorial, the cutting board have done some of the most amazing timing for a lot of the scene, the setup of the backdrop is breathtaking. There’s not a doubt that it would be one of the most anticipated and best movie. But how many people can get over the fact that it is 90% computer generated and view it as any actors concentrated movies?

Unexpectedly, my life has brought me back to my root this year. With the urges of some of my friend from the mainland. I’ve come to watch 2 of the most anticipated Chinese movie of the year. First is the story about how Mr. Sun plans his rebellion of the China last Empire when he arrive in Hong Kong for less than 3 hours and successfully become the father of democracy for China. The Bodyguards and the Assassins is about the little incident in Hong Kong between the gang that have been protecting the movement from the China Empire. So a bunch of local, from scholar to rich man to the student to the cart puller, all is in a plot to let Mr. Sun has the time to plan with his co-conspirator all around China. The many unnamed rebel that have sacrifice for one single effort to over-throw the then corrupted Empire. A movie that have taken 10 years to make, hundreds of cast changes, that have wear out all of Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan’s resources to make. The story of making this movie about a Small incident in the October of the turn of the last century…… is as Epic as the movie itself. And there’s no disappointment in such a movie that comes from the most inner heart of the movie maker himself. And the tenacity to make it through everything to make this movie is even admirable.

The second movie is the all-hyped Jay Chow’s and Taiwan most beautiful woman, Lim Chi Ling’s movie, The Treasure Hunter. There’s no comparison to the previous 2 movie. The editorial is a bit rough, the story is a bit weak in spot. It is not as perfect as any of Jackie Chan’s old treasure hunting movie. Yet, with the star power that is from the movie. 2 Best Male Actor and one most anticipated actor of our time. Treasure Hunter still have it’s attraction, and predominant fans. It is about the story of the a treasure hunter that is working for a boss, when the boss’s daughter is kidnapped and boss been killed. It is up to the treasure hunter to retrieve what’s been stolen and save the girl. Yup, it’s all the cliché but a cool entertaining movie to watch if you have the time.
