I was Flipping through my DVD Chest after a boring day at work yesterdat and I found this DVD that have been lying in there for the past 2 years.

If anybody at the age of my brother or mother would remember this one. "Dirty Dancing", It's an old movie about a guy falling in love with a girl and they dances. The original was really cheessy just like the name of the actor suggested. Patrick Swayze. who really could sway like you don't know an actor could.

But today I'm not talking about the original. After watching the much hyped foreign movie Oscar nominee "Y Tu Mama Si Tambien", everyone who watch the show or gone for the movie or wearing a Zegna will notice Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.

So after the show Diego Luna have transfer into USA and take on the lead role of the "Dirty Dancing" long awaited sequal, which Swayze also have a little supporting role in. the sequal was named "Dirty Dancing: Havana Night" which relive the same theme as it's predecesssor.

The rich girl intrigue by the saucy latin dances. this time the setting in no more the lake of Savannah, but the much heated Cuba right before the Revolution begins.

The girl follow her father who was assigned to Havana, leaving behind everything, she finds nothing comfort about the new environment except by chance discover the unique dance move of the local and one local waiter in the hotel that throughout the whole story takes the Girl into this beautiful, hot and freeing culture of latin dancing amid the whole underlying atmosphere of the begins of the revolution. Diego simply charmed everyone with his smooth latin acsence and all the dance move simply makes you want to dance along to the romantic yet sexy music.

For people who need a good night to feel good about themselves Guy or girl, watch the film and you won't be dissapointed.

Another Star have Been Deemed!

Just a week ago we are mourning the lost a Brad Renfro. while his new is still fresh on the breath, another star have gone over to the light.

Heath Ledger, the Oscar moninee as the other cowboy of the "Brokeback mountain", and the new Joker have been found dead in his hotel room Yesterday night. what a shame. and his career was thrive so good.

for all of us that started this habit of watching movie at my teens will know him started almost as the same age we graduate from high school in "10 Things I Hate About You" with such promising stars like Julia Stiles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

He has portray as the son of Mel Gibson in The Patriot of the American Civil War Drama.

And then he become the Knight in the Dark Age, in "A Knight's Tale".

After Building a profile, with these movies he join the cast of Monster Ball where Helle Berry got the first Black Women Oscar, and as Ned Kelley in the biographical story of Ned Kelley.

When partnering with such stars seems to be not enough he join Matt Damon as the older Grimm Brother in "The Brothers Grimm".

As the Venice Great Lover Casanova he then capture many of the women's heart after Marrying his co-star in Brokeback Mountain, Michelle Williams and they have a 2 years old daughter before they have their divorce finalize last year.

His latest performance including the Many Many portrayed Bob Dylan Movie "I'm No There" as one of the many charactor of Bob Dylan.

and He is filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when he is found lifeless in his hotel room. He was bound to promote the 2nd prequel for the Batman movie "The Dark Knight" this summer.

Again, my condolences to the family.

Mac New Genius Invention

The Thinnest Lap Top. Mac Air Everyone. you can actually fit it inside an envelope.

It is exciting to look at it. but not as exciting as IPhone. Yet with all the buzz. it's not hard to see why.

But I believe that Sony have come out with a similar idea a very long time ago. though then USB isn't really that much of an option and the connectivity technology wasn't as advance. and the disadvantage of it is the deck that comes with it simply spell trouble.

So this time Mac coming out with Air isn't a bad idea. but it's a question of whether iot's really time more seamingly wireless peripheral operating environment now. there's no drive reader on the Air. you have to either use a PC's Disc Drive or the only USB port on this Mac.

but if you are going out i suppose you can eliminate the trouble of bringing a drive for coffee outlet usage. yet still measuring less than half a cm on the thinnest part and less than 2cm on the thickest side (that's a little bit more than half an inch on all sides) is impressive. it's not a book for the old fashion operator that 's for sure. too few jacks to use haha.

the screen is nice so do the keybord. I was hoping the DVD drive could actually be like the iMac on the side of the screen instead of needing to use a external one. Anyway anyone with the spare money could have a look. the hardware spec is as good as any high perfomance laptop. so if you don't really need the drive then i guess this is the one for you.

Of course as we all Pod and Mac user's now. taking the Apple is a culture. when you touch one you don't want any other. and as they say "It got Style" Spell all over it. but I do admit it is a expensive habit when you have too little. so you decide yourself. but every Apple "eater" will tell you that it's all worth it. and totally stress free. Imagine slipping them in you filing case when you go to school with it.

The Ancient World.

This week I'd like to do something about the antient artifacts that is lying around the world in great museum yet to be discovered. by many.

Y you want to go to Berlin you say:- The Ishtar Gate is why. for almost 2 century that I wonder whether the Ancient Babylon and the Hanging Garden do exist and right in my face it's telling us that it does exist. Because the very gate is in the Berlin Museum all this while, the great ruby Blues and the Lions Statue they are magnificient.

Of course everyone knows the parthenon of the Greeks. it's as big as a 5 stories building and the column is just great to look at. Yet most of the artifacts are kept in the Great Britain Museum. not in Greeks. But sadly to say the great Statue of Athena is not inside.

Some of the greatest Ancient Artifacts are in Egypt, the great Valley of the kings and the Giza Pyramid. If you really have a chance to travel then Egyupt would be a great place to go to. but still there are still a artifacts that is scattered around the world's musuem from the old days loothing and old Archeologist grabbing whatever they excavated that time.

Movie Of the Week

Cloverfield Aside. I also went and watch 2 more movies during the weekend First off is “Mad money”. A story about 3 woman becoming thieves in the federal bank. IT’s a funny comedy just like the likes of “9 to 5” or “the 1st Wives club” it’s witty, funny and a lot of humor. But it’s lack of a plausible plot. That’s the only flaws, the whole story flow so smooth you can simply smooth off in that 1 and a ½ hr. so if you are looking for a light hearted funny movie that’s for you. I know it cheers me up.


So after the movie I went for a walk around town until my second movie of the day. “Rendition” as anyone know it’s a politics movie. No! I dun want to talk about Reese Whiterspoon meeting Jake on the movie cos they don’t meet there .if you notice, Reese only have scene with Jakes Brother In Law which could probably formally introduce the 2 at some event or at the premiere. O.K. that doesn’t matter much, Let’s get back to the movie. It’s a great movie. Good portrayal of the whole Middle East situation. Yes that could be a fraction of the torture that gone on after 911. it’s whether you choose to believe it or not. The Arabic Actors and Actresses have done a great job especially the bomber and his girlfriend.
Jake….. doesn’t really have much scene to perform. However the victim have a better chance of winning awards as best supporting actor if he got his face shot more. Haha! Anyway, It’s not as good as “Lions of Lambs” which have a more focus point. But overall it’s not a bad movie. It got the message across. I was actually watching the film in a Muslim country and believe it or not there’s a lot of foreigners in the cinema that day and they the foreigners actually applaud at the end of the movie. That’s says a lot about the false perception that the Americans have on the Muslim and their partner in the war. Not all Muslim’s actually hate American nor do they like the war. And not all European or Australian for that matter are impress with the US move to have war. I guess some part of it in all our heart we are a bit tired of hearing about the wars. And if you didn’t notice this most of the war news now have remain as a monologue below the anchor face on the news nowadays. No one is interested in hearing it unless there’s a solution to resolve it now.

Music Review of the Week

Alright, This week in music, there’s no much new music to talk about really. But there are plenty of concert DVDs to look into as the summer tour is alreadyt finish and all of them are rolling out of the assembly line.

First of of cors is one of the biggest tour besides, Madonna, Spice Girls, and Miley Cyrus is the Sexy Back Justin Timberlake. This time he is using his charm and the classic sexy back instead of the debut, rough, corky style. This time he goes classic. Wearing mostly throughout the show half a tucs or vest with some smooth and stylish dance move. And the setting is great because it is his very first Big Solo tour. Of cors with it runs the special edition CDS for “Sexy Back” with a couple of promotional Music video running on the airwaves all the is while. It’s one heck of the concert to look at.

Now from one Sexy Back to another, Beyonce, second world tour concert DVD is out, great set s and great performance and plenty of flair and booty shaking as always. What more could you say, it’s just top the first tour and a little bit more. Always a Gem to look at Beyonce performing live.



If you are looking for something smooth, sexy yet not so hot. Try the Hit theatre concert of last year from Michael Buble. He is the Smooth crooner of the 21st century. He’s a gentleman, he got style and he move and talks just like the old jazz legend, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett or B. B. King and he sings even as good as them with a twist of the new school. The way he talks, the way he walk exudes elegance and style. He’s a charmer and you’ll like him from the first moment he opens his mouth.

I've Just walk tru my DVD collection yesterday and I saw this Lavender Boxes of DVD. THe movie is called "Ladies In Lavender". It's a Mopvie By Dame Judy Dench (Shakespears In Love, Scandal In A Note, 007), Maggie Smith (Harry Potter), and Daniel Brühl(Good Bye Lenin!,Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken,Bourne Ultimatum) which is a very simple story that talks about 2 ladies come across this young lads who drift into their lives in a storm. there's no scandal. no Climax. But to me it's the best story telling at it's best. Just Like Breakfast at Tiffany's. one of the sisters who is old and single her whole life heart stir when this young guys drift into their house. he capture everyone's heart. Judy Dench gave a great performance of the struggling heart tormented by the inconvineint timing of this visitor. Late in her life, only she knows what's love, desire look like. It's just a great story tells in a subtle or even gentle ways. Movie Story Telling at it's best.
I know that for those who knows movies at it's best color will know this is a great movies. there's no excitement of fights and brutal gushes of blood. sorry for all the action and gore fans. it's just the beauty of the british country side, 2 old ladies, the handsome young chaps, and a bunch of great classics British country charactor. It is British Movies at it's most authentic. so for those of you looking for a quiet and relaxing day at home with your Girlfriend grab this one up.

Talking about Maggie Smith, which reminded me of another Harry Potter Pair's movie. "Driving Lesson", the Brits are just great with this kind of material. that's what I like about the Brit. they are the classic story teller. it's just a movie about 2 person doing a "Driving Lesson" and the Script on the Charactor is just incredible. just like Billy Elliot , Little Voice and Calender Girls. These Movies no matter how many times I watch they are still as great as a story of any movies. Die Hard or X Men, after first viewing when the buzz went off you dun really think you have any surprises anymore, but these movies are not built on surprise, they are of Story telling at it's best. If anyone still remember the feelings of hearing a person telling a great story. that's what it feels like when a great story was written and told.

Lost of one star! Brad Renfro!

I don't know how many of you actually know this kid. He's a bit younger than I am and when he acted in "The Client" I thought, a Kid actualy that could out Act Susan Sarandon. He is one of the amazing Actor I know when I started going online. You can actually see that his online profile on all the young star featured web site.

Sadly, he is dead. found dead in his own home alone.
It's a greif reminder of how drug and booze can actually hurt you. even years after you have stop using, the effect is permeanent. Imagine you have a limit to you life. each time you use drugs or booze or any intoxicating chemical, you life mile excelerate and your life span begin to rapidly decrease like the tyre. and here is a proof that you can actually run out a lot younger than you think how invincible you are.

with apt pupil, I thought this kid could be the next Al Pacino. Yet, the wronged path he chosen have lead him to no where. It's a shame and My condolences to the family and friends. and all the internet mourner.

Cloverfield! Blockbuster Buster! HAHA! Not Everyone Cup of Tea!

O.K. everyone going for the Cloverfield show down. I really is not everyone cup of tea.

If you have make up your mind on watching the movie no matter what don't continue reading on.

Just Like I thought, It's a totally different style of cinematography. though the style is not new. but it's not really a bad idea really. there's no cinematography to talk about really. there's so many tight shots that you'd get disoriented before the monster even come out. at the half way point you are already feeling dizzy. It's exactly like watching "Blair Witch" minus the horror but filled it with thrill ride. It's like a Motion Master ride without the motion.

Yesterday turn out wasn't so bad, but by the half way point, half of the people in the movie have gone out. If you are a regular movie goer and you are looking for some wide shot movie like the "Godzilla" type don't watch this one. It's not your cup of tea. It's more of a voyuer type movie like "Blair Witch". there's no sound track, plenty of tight shots, visual and sound effects. so the movie is not as dramatic as any thriller movie. Most of the time you only see the actors face smack to the screen cos they are so big. and you can hardly see clearly what's the monster looks like. It is a great Idea though, and the actors acting isn't at all bad (if you can actually spot them out.)

The Conclusion is that It's a cross Between Blair Witch with Godzilla story and Doom Video Game Shots with the Actor as the victim and not as hero, all the way. Personally I give it a 6 out of 10 but for public preference I'd give it 2 out of 10.

It'll get a lot of buzz later just not the kind one I afraid.

It's tip to be the first monster Block buster of the year 2008.

It will be, since everyone on the net that ever watch the Trailer is buzzing about it.

so it's get the first week block buster as big as Independance Days would. but if the film is not good or the word is out that it doesn't live up to the expectation then the buzz will be gone as fast as I Am Legend.

There are of course plenty of others attraction coming into cenima later to the year, "Indiana Jones", "Hellboy", "Batman", "Narnia" and "Harry Potter." Plenty of sequal that gaurantee sales for you to pick.

then there's of cors this year biggest Pixar Animation Event, "Wall.E" from Pixar. The answer for the Spy Kid Style Movie of the Year, "Speed Racer", Star the future star of Sean Penn Prodigy, Emile Hirsch. This year Answer to Apocalyto, 10000B.C. lets hope that the ticket sales isn't as bad. I'd hate to see the movie Beau or Covenant's Steven Strait drop off the earth. and there's of cors a string of follow up to the dance craze last year, Step up 2, and how she moves are a couple of those movies. of cors we are hoping that "The Mummy" Saga would be able to release this year to join the rush. This year the Mummy is from China. HAHA. and if you love Atonement, you'd love "Wanted", starring the ever so quietly sexy James McAvoy, with the ever sexiest Angelina Jolie. I have my eye fix on McAvoy ever since I saw him on the old children of Dune as the son of the Original Dune Hero. and the movie "Wanted" iss up against another movie with a similar Cenimatography style, "Jumper" expect these 2 single-titled movie duel it out on the big screen. and the musical Clan of the movie bunch, get ready for Mamma Mia starring the ever so graceful, "Devil" who wears Prada, Meryl Streep.

and for the Querky movie type, you can check out Will Ferrel's Semi Pro. I personally dun really like dirty Action Comedy so you guys can enjoy yourself. I do like some comedy with some British Sense of humor, Like Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day. that is my taste of comedy, funny and witty and filled with grace.

or you like some Twisted Action Heroes Comedy, Will Smith's interpretation of the Black Superman Comedy, Hancock would be great fun to watch HAHA!

and for love story Chicks around the world, you can catch Definitely Maybe, or Sex And the City Movie.

You Woody Allen movie's Lover, you might want to catch Cassandra's Dream...... or not, cos this time this is a totally Not New york kinda Gangster Mafia family movie that stars the Hunky Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor, totally not the same Querky old Woody movie you know in the past at all. and it may look like a thriller saga this time.

And After I Dig up some of the old James Cameron movies, like "Aliens", "Abyss" and "Titanic" and "Terminator", I really really miss his, grand, Big, Macho kinda rough neck movie. the way his movie were structured, there's just no other director compare. he is simply bold, and beautiful as a story teller.

of course if ever anyone would like to look back and see what kinda movie you'd like to revise, I'd recommand "Scent of a woman". A great performance from Al Pacino and Chris O'Donald.

these movies simply reflects how man are man and the interaction between man are as delicate, sometimes rough, yet still beautiful.
