Where are all the AI Alumni?

I won't be talking about season 1-4. Because I didn't watch even one episode of season 1 before Kelly Clarkson is crown. So I know her after the show ends. And I must say AI do produce some good musician.

So I follow up on the news of AI for the second season but didn't watch the show still. and that's when I know about Clay Aiken. The crooner can sing I must say. Sorry Ruben. Though I love your voice I'm taken over but Aiken first. So.....

On the third season I thought why not give it a try and follow the show, a bit. on and off I watch a Little bit. That's where I find Fantasia and think that she is too unique to not win. so the season end as I expected a duke between Diana DeGarmo and Fantasia.

And then came my work load and I totally mimss out on Carrie Underwood win. the first country contestant to win. Good One.

So since I didn't exactly follow the whole show from the beginning. I started on season 5 and that's where I'll start then.

Season 5 is the one that captures me from the beginning. the most talented since it begin to top 12 in my opinion. at least that's where I find watching Elliott Yamin, Chris Daughtry,Bucky Covington, Ace Young, Kevin Covais, Paris Bennett, Mandisa, Taylor Hicks, Killie Pickler and Katherine McPhee to be captivating and get me stuck to the TV screen the whole season.

Being the seanson with most talented contestant, for what it's worth I gasp everytime a contestant is voted off. cos it is a pity that they don't win. they are all record worthy.


So let's start with Kevin Covais. The "Chicken Little" is now going into the entertainment business as entertainer/ actor. As he is young and the career still developing and currently not coming out as singer, I think he is the least reported of the bunch. Still wish I could hear his sound someday. Coming up next would be Mandisa, who have been sizzling out in the Christian/Religion song category both in Dove Award and Grammy. Princess P is how we call her now. Paris Bennett have one of the best voice out of the youngster and her style as unique and wonderful. I love how little she is compare to her voice. she's got a R&B album out now. check her out at http://www.myspace.com/parisbennett



Taylor Hicks being the winner of the show have come out of the contract now and is doing his own thing. that's for the better in my opinion because he is best at live show than limited to ballad singing. he is the unique soulful live singer. not exactly to be contain in the small radio speaker. Nope that doesn't end there. As I said this the most talented season ever.

These few alumni that's coming up next is totally scorching the air waves until it's melting.

Kellie Pickler who look naive and unlikely to survive the business at first have won over more audiences over in the last couple of years than anyone above. She's in every award show and every Country music event. and her album is burning hot and still heating up on every country station after 2 years. Her sophomore album will be coming out this year. so look out for it. and the country music festival will be launching this month. check her out and your fave country star there. Well, Elliott Yamin, in my opinion is the best singer that come out of the contest, ever. he is sweet. his sound is wonderfully soulful. the Last but totally not the least would be one of the most successful of them all that come out of this season would be Chris Daughtry. His band have won every award that can be won and the sales of the album have totally break every record that there is. Shall we move on to the last year's season then.

That season to me is the one with the most diversified contestant of all season. You have the electric Blake Lewis, the ultimate chrooner Chris Richardson, the Pro Big voice Melinda Doolittle, the Ordinary and not so Ordinary Songstress LaKisha Jones, The country yet not so country officer Phil Stacey, And the ultimate winner, youngest ever Jordin Sparks.

There's no doubt that I'd star off with Jordin, Young, energetic, taken everyone's heart since the beginning, her great voice, her diversity and adaptability of her voice is totally Idol quality at it's best. She even ward off the season pro and the big voice with hers. So anyone following the wave these days will know her success so far now, and the Chris Brown collabore is simply the oppisite what the title suggest "No Air" have sold over a million copies now. The totally talented and the most unique style ever in a contestant and in my opinion the most unuaual artist who can make noise as good and music. Blake Lewis would be the only one in the world. After the first 2 fianlist of course who could forget the Profession Melinda Doolittle. Her voice, the wat she sings is not little at all. She knows every wongs every word. she perform every songs with perfection. So Chris Richardson. Good old Chris have the old soul. he's likable, totally fits to his style and voice. I beleive anyone who have watch the AI tour last year knows what he is capable of. he is totally amazing as a person and a singer. And Last but not least LaKisha Jones of course, she is just an ordinary girl. who have not the perfect skill, nor the perfect shape. but what she have is huge heart that can makes anyone's melt with her voice. she got the most honest voice on the show and she's not shy to show it and it's never discriminate and never offending. she is the sweetest person with a great voice. As for this year's talent?!

Since everyone have expected the David's duke out since the beginning of top 12. not many people have pay attention to the rest really. which makes the elimination of the top 12 a cruel and harsh one. there are some great people and singer there. Brooke White is a great singer that could have the perfect live pitch with a little bit more preparation. Kristie Lee Cook have proven herself to be able to carry a great tone if she is given the chance. Early Leaver like David Hernandez totally have the classic voice (regardless what's the gossip on him is. still there's no denial of the voice. just need some training for better control.), and the totally authentic is not the most authentic contestant ever, the Rock chick Amanda Overmyer. Although Remiele Malubay have not perform as expected in the contest but have you heard her in the finale? her voice stand out everytime she sings. Micheal Johns is the soft rock star of the bunch, sensitive and rockin. and his performance with Carly Smithson is totally rockin the house down that night. and if you haven't notice it, besides Syesha, Carly is the one lady that take on every lead on every performance she's in. Syesha of course rock the house down with Donna Summers. Chikezie and Jason Castro is the old soul. both charming, both with their own style. Jason being the softy and lazy mode he is. with a bit of advice I'm sure the charm will work well, as for Chikezie, he just didn't get enough time. He's got a great sound. just as i say the elemination this is the cruel. let's hope the tour will give him more chances to shine. As for the David's, there's no doubt now that Cook is the AI winner with that set of skills and that set of vocal. he can do anything. will be anticipating his album really soon. As for Archuleta, let's hope the Jive team will get him ready and setup the best environment to show of his vocal. best of Luck to them all.
