Aspire Actor to be aspire Singer

who's doing great and who's not.

First stop of course would be the wonderful Scarlett Johansson. being one of the most promising actress in the world. and now vernture into the musical world. But the result isn't really that inspiring really. The song is just ok. and she lack of that wow factor on her first single. There's much to be improve of.

On the other hand, another with the same profile but a lower celebrity status is Emmy Rossum. The song is distinctive and very Enya yet not exactly Enya. It's soothing yet intelligent. I think Emmy is a great singer with the best producting in her debut album.

So female rivalry aside. I've just expanding my friend base on my space. Some I know in person, some I just have a couple conversation online. some are new discover.

Most TV buff would recognize Blake McGrath, the TV celebrity feature in So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancelife. though those "Reality show" (all Reality Show is half scripted and some are just fake out for dramatic effect.) portray Blake as kind of some diva. but "real" or "fake" personality aside, the truth is He's out with a single and it wasn't bad, wasn't bad at all. In fact it's surprising that he can sound so good. with his spoken voice I thought it'd be a bit rough or tiny, but he got the right sound and fit perfectly to the pop sound. and they even presented some depths in the singing. Well Done Blake. All the best.

Another couple of TV celebrity group is the cousin team in "Dancing with the Stars". Mark Ballas and his couple Derek Hough form Almost Amy..... A pop and half jazz group. this group are well on the rack with Jason Mraz. only it's even better, 2 for one haha! they sound fantastic together.

Who would have thought that some dancers can be great singer too.

Another not so famous but equally good singer is Kaden. He has the normal story of a guy chasing dreams. To survive some singer or celebrity resolve to other means for money. So Kaden is the model turns singer type. his sound is sexy and really poping and dancy. And this artist with the right choreographer and MTV will be well on the way to go up that ladder. check him out.

Another actor turn singer group is from Nick Baga. he's got small role in "Hairspray" and feature as one of the friend of the reality show "Dancelife". He is the aspiring all rounded entertainer, taking in acting, dancing and singing together. his group is The Futhamuckas, a Rap, R&B group with a funky sound. the arrangement of the beat is the wicked of all. definitely worth looking into. but some of the songs are PG18 rated. so kids listen at your own risk.

next up of course if there's aspiring artist, there's ougth to be some unsigned artist that's diamond in the rough. While I was searching and see if there's a myspace from Justin Long the actor, I actually came across a band called Justin Long Band. out of curiosity I just check in and see what are they... the space is http://www.myspace.com/jlband

It's a pretty Good band actually. pretty Third Eye Blind with a bit of country touch. they actually sound great. I bet a million bucks if they are discover and sign they'll make big bucks. sensual, clear and fantastic.

It's really strange thing actually. from US there's a band that's famous by now around the world yet the American seems to be take no notice of their success. The group is called "The Click Five". Previously they just changed their lead singer and in my opinion they are edgier now and more pop Rock than the old pop sound in their debut album. having a handsome frontman doesn't do bad for the group and in this group and great looking and great music is the perfect combination. they have the perfect sound and the perfect song and if you think The Jonas sounds good, listen to this one group. they sound fantastic.
