Yesterday is another American Idol night

So how's the top 4 going to be top 3?

the top 4 performance is a bit awkward.

The show opening is Jason Castro. he started with a Bob Marley classic. and what happen a not so Bob Marley Jason is just gonna get the comparison blockage. so it's a flop.

Not so good for David Cook either. with a rocky but not too rock first performance it just ain't gonna make it. It's top 4. and it's just not good enough.

So Syesha comes in third. the Tina Turner classic is the perfect tone. though the moves and choreography is also classic Tina Turner. which makes it more obvious that there's very few originality in the performance. so she also got slammed a bit. but vocal wise, they are as good as any professional artist.

Next comes Arculeta, David did Stand By Me. and it's an easy win. he just stick to who he was and did the thing and he got the first round down on his door step.

so next round. everyone improved. except...... Jason. he did his own thing with the second song. but forgotten part of the lyrics and that is just the doom and with Simon "kiss of Death" comment. that's just it? he is on his way packing. No doubt.

next up, David Cook did a Duran Duran and that version is perfect. though it is a classic but David did his own thing and it is a great cover version that's ready to be sold and David dig his great vocal into it and make it big. and Simon says, David Cook is back!!!!!!

So next up Syesha did the "A Change is Gonna Come" which is the perfect song for a black american to sing. the civil war, the history, the life of it. it's as good as the Hairspray music sang by Queen Latifah. and Syesha delivered. So Randy is not too happy about it. and Syesha broke down into tears because of all the emotion. she did good and a great version too.

so David Archuleta closes the show in actually a lower note, Love Me Tender. The first time I heard the song is the Elvis version and the a Chinese-American Best selling Artist Wang Lee Hom did it when he's really young, and I thought there's no one can do better then them both. Elvis have the sexy voice and Lee Hom have the tenderness down right. but David Archuleta's voice is to magnetic that it just draws you in when he sang it tenderly. so thogh it's not climatic but it is perfection. the perfect ending for this week show and so he did crush every competition.

So As predicted

1. David Archuleta is rank first and most probably the trend is how it's gonna be in the finale.

2. David Cook is the rock with the best talent. and he is the great artist but lack that liitle, just very little bit of X factor.

3. Syesha Mercado is the ultimate songstress with the sensual sound and the big voice. but by the look of the voting she's just gonna be this far in the race.

4. Jason Castro. your steam engine have reach the station and it's time to get off. he did look great but musically he just have to work harder. Just be better.

and no surprises, last night, Jason is send packing with Syesha accompanying him on bottom 2.
