After the settlement of the Twilight excitement, I was looking for something interesting to watch last weekend. So in one shot I hit for 3 movies.
First one will be the much covered but not promoted, Bolt 3D. with the fame of Miley Cyrus on the voice roster, you think that it’d hit big, yet it’s totally crush by the vampire. The Dog just not as good with the fang. Anyway, I thought that 3D would be a better way to go for, as apparently it’s just a trend. So Bolt 3D is the Disney own develop animation, which is a great effort, with the same amount of heart and soul to it. But, less excitement really. And apparently the effort to make the things pop in 3D is very minimal in this one. You can do without the disturbing goggle and the extra 5 bugs really. There’s no different. It’s still a good children story.

Next up will be the Wild Child. I don’t know. Ever since Alex appeared in Storm Rider, I find this is a kid that have star power radiating with every fiber of his being really. Even with a movie that’s have not much ground to show off talent, the charismatic Alex Pettifer shines like a beacon among all the actresses. It’s still the normal teenager spirit movies with a great deal of American- British sense of humor actually. I love the contrast and the simple underlying differences of country girl and urban posh. And how both still is able to blend perfectly with a bit of effort and tolerance.

Well, from youngster we move to something totally too adult. Transporter 3, the criminal fighting criminal story that have a bit of Taxi driver humor to it with plenty of sex appeal. Jason Statham returned as the main character Frank Martin. Clothes dropping, flying around and car crashing and shifting around canyon and between trucks. This 3rd installment of the action saga is not at all a disappointment. But I do get a hint of wariness from the writers to come out with something fresher. Well, you can action, you got it, you want car chase, there’s plenty no doubt, Sex….. try natural this time with a striptease. Plenty of skin and sexiness exuding from this film. Totally PG material. Yet, an entertaining one.
