Top 10 Holiday Must Watch Movie of the Year, Christmas, Sci fi, Comedy and more

Everyone. This holiday season we have a great movie collection for you guys to feast on.
Our own top 10 movies for the holidays
First up, Nothing Like The Holidays
You can just feel the holiday feeling creeping around. This movie about Latin celebrating their Christmas in the states, about a family with all the right stuff of family argument, drama and siblings rivalry, all the chaos and joy of life as a family. Comprising some of the most amazing Latin actor and actresses, Alfred Molina, Elizabeth Pena, Freddy Rodriguez, Luis Guzman, Jay Hernandez, John Leguizamo, Jay Hernandez and Debra Messing. Produced by Freddy Rodriguez in his hometown in Chicago in the coldest winter ever simply shows the great effort and sincerity of the production. The great vibe just exuberating from it. Love the anomaly of the story, love the familiarity of the environment and the great acting and humor of this ensemble. So why wait? This will be our top 1 pick for the holiday.
Second on the line, Four Christmases.
One of the highest ranked actresses teamed up with one of the top most rank comedian what do you expect and to have one of the best female comedian on TV in the movie is a great plus. This movie comprise of great holiday cheers with the great humor of Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn, and Kristin Chenoweth. Of course you can catch a glimpse of the great Sissy Spacek too, that’s a big plus. A couple tries to visit their 4 divorced parents in the holiday….. all hell break loose when the flight is cancel. Going through with the family brings up so many worst nightmare from the past….. it’s a funny movie to watch.
For those trying to beat of a different track, you can get the not so holiday…. Marley and Me.
The movie marks the return of Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson on the big screen. What happens when you got a dog that’s the devil from hell? (no nothing supernatural in this movie, just plain comedy). He do everything out of the ordinary and his adorable as hell (no not Owen Wilson, The Dog, Marley). Well you are bound to see some great action with the Dog pulling the string to get his master to fall in love with his lady. It’s an inspirational story what a great companion (The dog) can be and make us realize the important of life and family.
It’s always the award season when it comes to the end of the year. Sure you’ll get a lot of non-holiday- relevant independent and award worthy movies ahead of you.
You can check out Milk, where Sean Penn produced and acted as the first Californian elect openly gay officials, Harvey Milk. He is elected San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors in his third attempt on the election and successfully achieve the feat in 1977, being a Gay Rights Activist and city Politician, he is assassinated by former board member, Dan White along with SF Mayor at the time, George Moscone. The story discuss the journey of his win and his private life and his friend along the way. If Sean is not the ultimate attraction, pay attention to the line up at the back, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Josh Brolin, Diego Luna, Alison Pill, Victor Garber, Joseph Cross and Lucas Grabeel (No dancing and singing this time). I’m sure everyone in the film will tell you it’s a great deal to be working with Sean.
Another Politically correct movie is on the line up to the big screen this season.
Frost/Nixon
The infamous interview between the Post-Watergate former president, Richard Nixon and British TV Host David Frost. Even forced from office, Nixon have kept his mouth shut, but not this time. The interview of the 1977. Thinking the not so famous British showman will give Nixon an easy pass in the interview when he answer those question that have been hidden all this time. The telling of the tale behind the scene the doubt the courage and the outbreak of this mere showman’s effort to drill Nixon out of his rabbit hole. The ego, the insecurity, the fight for dignity begin when the camera start rolling and both men are fighting to keep their own ground in tacked and making this the most exciting interview of the century and totally display of the unvarnished truth.
If you are looking for something that’s award worthy and great actor (some of the sexiest man alive movies)
The Titanic return of the most loved couple on screen, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the Revolutionary Road is a great movie to watch out for. DiCaprio also have Body of Lies, the political suspense action movie on the board at the moment, are sure to make a run for the Oscar this year. This movie that focuses on the actor an actresses performance the whole time, a story about a suburban family trying to fit in to their community when all their guts, heart and soul are vibrating with rebellion towards the picket fences life of their seemingly perfect life in the period of 1950s. The Husband on a boring well-paid 9 to 5 office job, and the wife that’s still hoping on a acting career. How will they deal with this frustration that’s keeping them together and bound to tear their family apart? Can they survive it? Directed by Kate’s own real life husband, Sam Mendes, this movie created a great interesting dynamics that’s totally captivating for a supposedly small family conflict movie. You can catch Kathy Bates strutting her skill in this one too.
Brad Pitt anyone? Sorry Ladies, this Sexiest man alive is totally not sexy in this one I’m afraid.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button presented a mustached Brad Pitt and the story tells that the amazing condition that Button have been born 80’s and ages backwards with bizarre consequences, but the most important thing in life is not about the physical condition but moments of life. When if he is getting younger by the day, he is not stopping the time he has from young-ing to death. The biggest attractions for me will be seeing Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton in the same movie for the first time.
Talking about Independent movie, you just can’t miss Slumdog Millionaire.
Yup, you’ll won’t see any familiar faces or star you know on this one. But this is one hell of a story to watch. The boy that got into a TV games show because he can’t marry the love of his life that have been promised to someone else since they were young and because of his under privileged condition. Who wants to be a Millionaire is the game and he won it with his love and the whole world. Will be able to meet his missing love again and have her hand for himself forever?
OK! OK! Too many drama I know. All Sci-fi action buff. Here’s your deal of the month.
The Day The Earth Stood Still is showing on all big Screen now. you can go catch it now. Starring Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates and Jaden Smith (this time without his father Will by his side, he did pretty well really.) The 1957 remake, you still will catch the human-like Alien and the one eyes robot. But you won’t be seeing the one eyes robot trashing anything this time. The Dark matter will do the job and incinerating everything in it’s path just by mysteriously touching it. Well, the underlying humanity is still flowing strong in this one with a talking human looking that actually present more emotion. The effects will be mind blowing.
In a much controversial ending to this article. We have chosen to end it with Bedtime Stories.
A suitable title but not exactly your normal happy family movies. This one with Adam Sandler on the roster again. you are bound to see some Click action again in this one. A hell lot of special effects, and the plot is, whatever you make the kids think, they come true. Fresh plot, but the formula is totally similar. And if you like some action comedy from the original Sandler, this is the one to watch out for. Totally non-PG rated. I think.
