Olympics 2nd week

Well, it’s official yesterday, that Michael Phelps is the greatest Athlete ever in Olympic history, 8 Golds, 7 World Records and 1 Olympics record. He is the man with the most Gold won in the history of the Games ever, 14 golds all in total out of 16 medals. He has received his recognition of his achievements in the last Gold medal presentation ceremony too. He came close to losing the challenge in the Butterfly 100m where he win by 100th of a second, he got the styles, he got the beat and in his quest he is the ultimate entertainer with every possible condition thrown to him and he prevail from the adversity. He is the best Athlete ever. Now of course, fame aside he is still that person that came from Baltimore. Everyone will be excited to see what is he going to do next and in the 2012 LondonOlympics. And I guess his next quest will be to maintain his performance is the games and be the person that have most Golds in most Games ever. HAHA! But i guess now, he just have to rest and enjoy the ride.
Of course this week we also saw the only contingency that have a chance to win gold for Malaysia in the Badminton. But it seems the quest have come a bit short when Lee Chong Wei Fell short and lose the final in 2 sets to world’s number one player. Still it is a good try another silver for Malaysia.
China continues to dominate the Diving event. And with last night’s event, the swimming has come to an end and all that’s left in the Water Cube is Diving for Golds. We see the Chinese Gymnastic having a bad day at work in the Gymnastic events. But some great moment in Wrestling.
We see the shifting of golds for various events like rowing, Fencing, sailing, shooting and weightlifting. All event are going well and on it’s way.
