Batman vs another Dinosaur???! HAHA!

I was at the cinema this week for the movie. Journey to the Center of the Earth – 3D. It’s the coolest movie you’ll ever find in a 3D feature.
The ride, the fall, the fish and yoyo, even the dinosaur seem cooler. It is truly a movie you must watch in 3D. It won’t feel the same if you watch it in any other ways.
Well, Brendan Fraser did it this year. With one 3D movie, one Fantasy movie and the supernatural Mummy on the way. He has out done himself. And he is definitely the action movie star of the year.
Of course there’s no doubt that Josh Hutcherson got his own right to the claim with his performance in the movie and his track record of some of the coolest movies he’s been involved in. It’s really exciting to see what he’s gonna be up to next.zs
The movie is a reinvention of the master piece and adapted to the 21st century. Added in some element of family values.
With an uncle, nephew team, and a stranger hiking instructor. They fall into the journey while they are trying to uncover their own past when they found notes written on the book of the missing father and friend.
They have reinvent part of the story that incorporated the element of the old book and also added in some of the coolest action to it. Overall the story is well written with the right portion of action and humor along the way.
For the pass one week, the show have been sold out in every cinema I went. Today if it’s not because the cinema actually open a special lane at the tickets counter I won’t even get the tickets after a 2 hours queue.
That’s how big this is. And I’m sure with that effect so early, the box office worldwide won’t be too bad.
One piece of advice. Those with spec you might want to change into contacts. Cause most of the time wearing a spec under the 3D goggle they offer is a bit tricky and it also create some shadow when you watch it.
The best way to watch it is at the IMAX theatre if you can fine one showing the movie. Cos it’s design with no obstruction in front of you and you can enjoy the full view of the movie.
And I hope if you get a chance you should go watch it. And no one would believe how good it is too.

I also went for “The Dark Knight” on Sunday. I have nothing on the agenda that day and just taking my time to relax that day.
In the news, there’s a buzz about Oscar for “the Dark Knight”. And I believe after I watched the show, it can be. It got the right script. The best script in any Batman movies ever in my opinion. The editing is great, the action and sequence is well thought. And the actors performances are superb. Be it may or not, a Heath Ledger tribute, they kept most of the take of Heath. And for most of the audience that goes into the cinema who don’t know this...... the film is 2 and a half hours long. So you might want to slow down on the coke.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spoilers ahead~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It may be long and some audience can’t take it. There can be a lot of section you thought it would end there and still continues on. But the way they created Batman as a very realistic Character, Joker is not comical at all, he is very real and psychotic. And at the beginning you get a taste of Scarecrow again, and at the second half point you’ll see the transformation of another character, two face. This time they are so real you’d think it’s telling a real story. And the story is perfectly dramatic. Although I doubt that a comic action superhero movie would get a best movie nominee, but I do believe it can be up for original script and quite a few best actor performance. And I still love the humor between Batman and Morgan Freeman character, as well as the Butler.
So I hope that you could sit tight and enjoy the long and totally realistic story of this movie. You’d love it if you are into movies. This is in fact, in my opinion the one hero movie that I think is on the par of any Oscar movie. You might feel that it’s a bit long. But you’d not get bored. For the flow of the sequence is spotless.
