10 Best New Artist year 2008

The end of the year is coming and it’s time to actually conclude our year one little bit at a time.
Our own Top 10 list for Best New Artist of the Year.
1. Of course is the greatest breakthrough of the year Katy Perry, who could deny the great effort that Katy has put down musically, the controversial and bravery and the free spirit. And most of all the work that she is able to present herself as a good entertainer in MTV Europe Award too. Katy would do fantastic in the coming year.
2. David Archuleta, the buzz is never going to go off until the end of next year American Idol. Further more for the rhythmic melodic genre, David is a great find no matter how people would perceive the situation, the sales or the promotion. And the capability to overcome adversity. That’s in itself is a great personal success itself and an inspiring one at its best too.
3. David Cook, how we can talk about Archuleta without calling it for David Cook. There’s no telling if Cook would be successful or fail as half and half of the AI champions prove in history. But there’s less and less doubt that with his talent and the expectation of the audience he’d be a great rocker here.
4. Another competition winner is from across the coast that is making waves this year with a #1 single in America, performance in the Olympics and so much more appearance in all the award show and concerts gives this lady the greatest credit that many has only wish for. But the most important facts of all she is one of those songstress with a true talent and amazing voice that is comparable to some of the greatest singer in music history.
5. With the rise and population of some of the teen idol around the business it is not surprising that the new artist demographic is going younger by the minute. Colby O’Donis is one of those singer. At the age of nineteen this kid has done it all. Created a hit single, dances and sing with some of the best artist in the business, Akon, T-Pain and Lady Gaga. With that sensitive rhythm and fast beat he’ll do well too in his debut.
6. One more teenage new artist of the year that we just realize with her #1 single this year. At the age of 19, Taylor Swift have been in the business as a professional artist 3 years before. Winning virtually every nomination she has in Country Music and Video Awards spell exactly how talented this young lady is. And with a strong spirit she’ll develop into someone as great at Reba McEntire.
7. Our next 2 choices are both from across the Atlantic Ocean. Both with a distinctive style of their own. The new Jazz sensation of the year. Duffy will be the one that can bring back plenty of old time blues to the world’s music. It’s been long missing to have one female artist with a great voice, and Duffy’s is electrifying.
8. Estelle is the other artist that would be the best to summarize the rise of a new star. Having the #1 single, collaboration with some of the best artist in the world, Kanye West, John Legend and Will.I.Am. A successful producer herself have released her debut album this year and successfully propel her to nominated and winning tons of awards.
9. The Ting Tings is another Duo from across the Atlantic that have created a shock wave through the music scene. With just a girl lead and the man that plays it all. Funny enough the name came from the pronunciation of Chinese word which means a kind of percussion instrument, or symbolizes the sound of the percussion or the Chinese word listen. The group caught the music industry by storm for being one of the most amazing act of the year because they created their number one single “That’s Not My Name” with a voice and a series for beat and incorporate the last part of the songs with pre-programmed guitar to create the climax. It is one of the most brilliant productions.
10. Jonas Brothers, of course last but not least the most chased about and talked about group in the world today. This band literally spell out everything that the industry is looking for. Energy. The young the hip and the missing element in the music scene for the past 2 years. There’s been a steady stream of boys band in the 90’s but after the Millennia the boy have all become grown up and there’s a void in the industry and people are pretty bored about the dancing singing formulated boys band. So instead comes the boys that do it all. The band started with the youngest brother Nick Jonas releasing his solo effort although with a steady rise in popularity, their true rise to stardom is when the three brothers, Nick, Joe, And Kevin came together as opening act for Miley Cyrus after a rough start at Sony. With various guess star role on TV their second album finally takes off and brought them to their own tour, a TV movie and the release of their 3rd album this year.
