News and Entertainment round up

For those of you that’s looking at the economy and market these days, this is somewhat a great news for you.
The US Dollar is soaring, if you want to go in, be careful you might have lost that window. As the USD going up, the consumer might be relieved a bit on the spending this holiday. But with the rising of Dollar also marks the reigning of the rise or stable cabin of Gold is going, and with all the stimulate package out there, it must be eating into all federal gold reserve worldwide. There’s no doubt that gold will go down. And with the operational cos for oil getting higher, the supplier will have a bit of a hard time to supply and oil is expected to rise….. of course tonight you’ll start seeing the Asian market soar a bit with the good news of the stimulation package out there and the demand for Asian oil or product. Though it is expected that China will have a lower Growth of 7% this year end, it’s still a growth while many will see red in the yearend report. So if you are looking for a safer haven for your money, China might be the ideal place. Of course as the biggest consumer country yet, US is still leading the market, but with the money shifting fast to Asia…. In a few years the trend might just swing over to China.
There’s still time to grab some of the good share that is expected not to drop further because for most of the market in the world a floor have been settle. Of course we still haven’t see the floor yet for US. But for the moment the effect of the world leader effort to stable is looking pretty good for today. But if the rally for rise in Asia rise begins this moment then the power swing for market lead might just happen in this few months.
Anyway, USD is up, but I doubt it’s time to grab it now, I feel the window is way off, wait a couple more weeks it’ll come down if the power shift actually happen. With the stabilizing starting these days, the fluctuation interval will change from weeks to weeks and not months. But if you got gold, you might want to throw them now. it will drop more as more country selling more of theirs federal reserve. but the window to buy back will be pretty soon though one or 2 months later I guess.
OK. Enough of the boring rich stuff. If you are looking for entertainment, today’s China we have a bad news for fan of Wilber Pan, he hit the floor hard yesterday in a performance and tore his operated ligament again. The pain seem so excruciating, the artist still continue and finish his number for the live show. But I must ask…… for God sick, I know I say you have to work your butts off to be success give it all, but not cripple, that’s nothing good for a dance oriented artist?! Rest man….. you must man, for your future for the next 20 years man.
It is always a balance act guys, the world never just stay the same at anytime, and lie flat on the scale. It will tilt one way or the other, and the best part of it all is life’s the same, you move, you sway and try to stay on track. You fall off sometimes, get back on and dance along again. And the collective solution and selection is always separated from the individual choice. As my individual choice, I’ll say out loud I support choices, that’s what freedom is about, and personally, a little bit of self indulgence sometimes is great but remember to walk back the line we choose as soon after. Keep focus. So I say, on to same marriage and on to Pro Choice. IT won’t mean that everyone will go homo, or take abortion and sex over marriage and children, that’s just mental. It, the freedom of choice, and I believe in majority of the people will do what’s right and choose right.
Tonight also marks the arrival of the CMA and Latin Grammy.
For the CMA, Kenny Chesney takes over the show with 4th Entertainer, Carrie Underwood again prove she is no one hit wonder, taking home best female. And Brad as everyone wishes, winning best male. Best group who’d be more qualified than Rascal Flatts and Sugarland went for the best Duo. New Artist is really new this time with Lady Antebellum. Finally AI have loosen it’s grip on the new artist award for country, it’s a bit of a shame that Kellie of AI fame didn’t win though. Strange to see that George Strait won both single and Album’s top honor without an entertainer or singer’s individual win though. The songs of the year goes to…. Jennifer Nettles’ “Stay”. The different, single and album win goes to Artist and producer, and song win goes to songwriter and publisher. I’ll sing “isn’t it a wonder” !!!!
Anyway, moving on to the Latin side, as usual it’s a hot night in…., Houston,Texas. (what a strange place for Latin award…). New girls is in town, Kany Garcia kicks butts, and took home the honor. Juanes no surprise takes home Album of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Album with La Vida…Es Un Ratico. And Mexican old faithful, Cafe Tacuba takes home early Best Alternative Song but beat by Julieta Venegas on Best Alternative Album. The songstress also took home the Long Form Music Video with her MTV unplugged performance. While long time Latin awards winner such as Marc Anthony (El Cantante - Best Salsa album) and Gloria Estefan (90 Millas – Best Traditional Tropical Album) both take home one….. as the ceremony continues. We’ll come back and see who is going to take the top honor of Record of the Year.
************************************
Juanes is the big winner of the night's Latin Grammy with all 5 nominated wins. and Juanes' Me Enamora is the Record of the year. Making the Singer and Activist the most awarded artist in Latin Grammy with 17 Trophies to date.
Continue on the music scene. This week marks the debut of AI 1st runners, David Archuleta, who have been having a blast in a slew of news reel and interviews going strong on his debut album and in a couple of days we’ll see his “Arch Rival” David Cook comes into the scene and step on the trail with him. Well, it is hopeful they’ll together book Ellen or Oprah or some interview entertainment show together. It’d be fun to see them both together on the same TV screen again some time. Well, not a bad thing this week though that Archuleta broke most of iTunes record sales with his counterpart, and Crush the one non-AI single is top at 2nd Billboard and 1st on iTunes and album is looking at a great play. Though the teen is trying hard to move on, I recon a slow move is more likely at the moment. At least until the debut of next year’s season of the show. Of course the rivalry is totally the game for publicist and the media. It’ll be a field trip for the gamer and those don’t wish to crash and burn as the casualty of the plain will know best to avoid this couple of weeks.
